How much do managed services cost?+
Managed services are custom-quoted per platform based on complexity, traffic, and the level of support you need. Book a discovery call and we'll provide a fixed monthly quote after reviewing what we'd be hosting and managing.
Do I have to use managed services after you build my platform?+
No. You can take everything in-house, hand it off to another vendor, or have us host and manage it. We strongly recommend managed services for AI systems and platforms with active users — the operational complexity is real — but it's always your call.
Can you take over a platform someone else built?+
Often yes. We do a technical audit first to understand what we'd be inheriting (code quality, security, dependencies). If it's healthy enough to maintain responsibly, we onboard it. If it's a rebuild, we'll tell you that honestly.
What happens if I want to leave?+
You take everything: source code, database exports, infrastructure access, documentation. We help with the transition. No data hostage, no vendor lock-in, no migration fees.
What's included in the monthly retainer vs. extra?+
Hosting, monitoring, security patches, backups, bug fixes, and minor enhancements (under ~4 hours) are included. Major new features, redesigns, or integrations are quoted separately so you stay in control of your spend.
Do you offer a service-level agreement (SLA)?+
Yes, on managed-services retainers. Specific uptime targets and response-time commitments are set out in your service agreement.
Can you host my data in Canada?+
Yes. For Canadian-residency requirements (PIPEDA, BC PIPA, healthcare), we configure hosting in Canadian regions on Vercel, AWS Canada Central, or self-hosted infrastructure. We're transparent about what processes data where.
