Every build starts with understanding the workflow first — then designing the right system around it.
Most software engagements fall apart in the same three places: a quote that does not match the build, silence between kickoff and launch, and a vendor who disappears the day the contract ends. We structured our process specifically to prevent that.
Every engagement starts with a free 15 to 30 minute discovery call. We map the workflow you are trying to fix, the tools you already use, where you are losing time, and what success looks like in six months. If your problem is better solved with an off-the-shelf tool than a custom build, we will say so — even if it means a smaller engagement for us.
We write a short technical scoping document before the price exists. The document lists features in scope, integrations, deployment target, and the assumptions baked in. You see the scope before the quote, and the quote is fixed against that scope. No vague mid-build “additional complexity” line items.
You see real, deployable progress every week or two. Most clients have a private staging environment they can poke at as features land. There is no “reveal at launch” pattern — surprises in software almost always mean the brief was not clear enough.
Custom builds use Next.js for the web, Node and Python on the backend, Postgres for data, and Cloudflare or Vercel for delivery. Automation pipelines run on n8n, self-hosted in Canada when you want it. Voice agents are built on VAPI. These choices are deliberately mainstream — you should never end up dependent on an obscure tool to keep your platform alive.
At launch you get source code, deployment access, documentation, and a runbook. Most clients keep us on a small monthly retainer for ongoing changes, monitoring, and operational guidance — but it is optional, not required. If you want to bring it in-house, we will hand the keys over cleanly.

Do you build AI voice agents for industries other than dental and trades?
Yes — the voice agent platform itself is industry-agnostic. We have shipped agents for clinics, real-estate teams, trades, hospitality, and professional services. The hard part is not the voice technology, it is matching the agent's behaviour to how your specific business actually answers calls today.
Can you build something on top of my existing Squarespace, Webflow, or WordPress site?
Often yes. AI chat, booking forms, smart search, automated follow-up, and review-request workflows can be added without rebuilding the underlying site. If your existing site is the right platform, we leave it alone. If it is actively holding back conversion, we will tell you.
Do you only work with Canadian businesses?
We focus on Canadian businesses because our delivery process, contracts, time-zone alignment, and tax handling are built around that. We will take on US and international projects selectively when the fit is right.
Where is my data stored?
Wherever you want, within reason. Custom builds default to Canadian-hosted infrastructure (Vercel or Cloudflare for the front end, Postgres on Canadian providers). Automation pipelines default to self-hosted n8n on Canadian VPS. We can deploy to your own AWS, GCP, or Azure tenancy if you prefer.
What happens if we want to leave?
For custom builds you own the code, the data, and the deployment access — there is nothing to leave. For hosted services like the AI voice receptionist, you can cancel anytime; we will export your data and your call logs, and there is no long-term contract.
